Special Effects and Options
| Tables | Your information can be neatly displayed in many options, tables allow some pretty nifty formatting. See a pedigree for an example. |
| Music | Would you like some background music on your site to set the mood? Or perhaps you'd like a midi player on the page where viewers can choose what music they would like to hear? See table for an example. |
| Slideshows | One way of displaying your photos or images online is by the use of a slideshow. Slideshows have many options, such as "fading in" each photo, or being set to play automatically or manually by user-controlled buttons. |
| Mouse trailers | This effect can be used with either text or any of your small images. This special effect can be overused though, and I recommend only using it on one page. |
| Mouseovers | Mouseovers can achieve many different effects such as changing an image to another image when the mouse passes over it, to highlighting text, to changing the background color or image of a page. See table for an example. |
| Image Reflection | Add a "reflection" to one of your images, check out the effect here. |
| Snow effect | This effect can make it seem like snow (or any image of your choosing) is gently floating down your page. You can use actual snowflakes if you like, or any small image. See this page for an example. This page also uses a mouse trailer with a star image. |
| Drop-down menus | Site navigation can be accomplished on your site by simple text or image links, or you can be a little more technical and use drop-down menus, achieved by javascript. See table for an example. |
| Dynamic menus | For the deluxe packages, or as a custom effect, you can use the more sophisticated dynamic menus, seen on the top of every page of this website. This allows many sub-menus to be used. |
| Mouse right-click disabled | Would you like to protect the images or photos on your website? This option disables the viewer's ability to "right click" on your site to copy images. |
| Tell a friend form | This form allows your viewers to pass your website address along to their friends, a great way to advertise your site! |
| Feedback form | A form is a great way for you to get feedback from your viewers, emailed directly to you. See a survey type form. |
| Site Search | This option enables viewers to search directly within your site for the exact item they are seeking. |
