Dear Queen Mum:

Greetings from Jefferson Kingdom. His royal Majesty arrived safe and sound on Saturday morning ensconced within his royal cage. Many of his subjects were at the airport to greet his eminence and were amazed at his royal looks, his striking ears, and his marvelous demeanor and personality. We could barely manage to extricate his majesty from the airport because so many of his subjects well-wishers were staring at him and blocking the exit!

This new ruler of the Naeve Castle couldn't be more handsome. He immediately took up residence in his Thrown Room--which, for the time being is located underneath the king bed in the King's Guest room! After he became acclimated to his new surroundings, His Jeffersonship began issuing Royal proclamations to anyone or anything passing by. This King definitely craves attention. But for as beautiful as his Majesty is, his loving personality really takes center stage. The subjects are thrilled and the King's court has declared a permanent holiday to celebrate his arrival.

Yesterday, his Majesty's courtiers, Nancy The Naeve and William the Enforcer accompanied His Jeffersonship to His Majesty's personal Veterinarian. "Dr. J." carefully examined his royal countenance and pronounced him fit and healthy.

So, life under the benevolent King Jefferson The First begins. Long live the King!
