Books: (Showing)
Showing your cat; a complete guide by Meredith D. Wilson Outdated, but still of interest to some exhibitors. Very interesting to see how things have changed. (Written in 1974)
Cat Breeding and Showing - A guide for the novice by Meredith D. Wilson This one is also outdated, and not as complete as the one above. I think it will be of interest to collector's of old cat books though. (Written in 1972)
It's Showtime by Phil Maggitti J. Anne Helgren I thought this book was very useful when I started showing, it's also the most recent of any listed here. (Written in 1998)
In the Spotlight : A Guide to Showing Pedigreed and Household Pet Cats by Carolyn Vella and John McGonagle VERY useful book, although slightly dated. Worth finding though. (Written in 1990)
Note: I believe all of these books on showing are out of print (with the possible exception of 'It's Showtime', but they can be bought used from time to time, and it's also possible to find them on eBay.

The complete book of cat breeding by Dan Rice This book is written by a vet rather than a breeder, so gives a different slant to the material.
Breeding purebred cats by Anne S. Moore Excellent book, very useful.
Understanding animal breeding by Richard M. Bourdon I don't own this one yet, anybody want to send me a review?

Hand-raising the orphaned kitten by M. L. Papurt Lots of useful tips in this one.
Cat Owner's Home Veterinary Handbook by Delbert G. Carlson, James M. Giffin, Lisa Carlson Very good coverage of diseases in layman's terms. I referred to this book a lot as a beginner.
